Let’s say you buy an assorted pack of eight pieces of sushi from the supermarket

The lineup is:

❶ Tuna
❷ Salmon
❸ Squid
❹ Shrimp (boiled)
❺ Egg
❻ Negitoro gunkan
❼ Blue-backed fish, such as mackerel
❽ Sea bream

In that case, 
what order would you eat them in?


Personally, I start with the blue-backed fish.
Because the quality can be really hit-or-miss.
I take a bite first as a kind of test of my luck for the day.
If it has a fishy smell, I'd be like, “Good thing I got that one out of the way first.” 
But if it's delicious, I end up feeling a little regretful, like, “Ahh, I ate the good one right at the beginning ~.”


“I want to end on something delicious.”
I always have this kind of feeling.
That’s why deciding what to save for last is utterly important.

I think a lot of people save their favorite piece for last, but I’m a little different. I save the shrimp because it's something I neither particularly love nor dislike for the end.

Because I have absolute trust in boiled shrimp.


As you can probably tell from this,
maybe I’m someone who seeks stability.

It’s interesting how your personality can show even in something like the order in which you eat sushi and the little preferences you have.

Today, too, the shrimp was neither particularly amazing nor disappointing—
just reliably delicious ๐Ÿฆ

Recently on Hinatazaka de Aimashou,  both the formation and the Senbatsu lineup for Hinatazaka46’s 18th single were announced. To be honest, it’s really difficult to put into words how I feel about the announcement this time.  To put it simply, I was disappointed. After the Senbatsu announcement was over, plenty of emotions came rushing over me that I couldn’t stop crying. I cried so much that even I was surprised, and my tears made it difficult for me to see what was in front of me. I found myself thinking about everything I had worked hard on during the 17th single period, the things I wanted to work even harder on from here, and how far there still is between the person I want to become and who I am right now. I’m frustrated, and it hurts. Of course, I understand that being chosen as Senbatsu member isn’t everything.  But precisely because I have the ambition to show all of you even more wonderful scenery, I truly regret not being able to make into the cut this time.
